Congratulations on creating a journal that is creative, interesting and “right on” in terems of capturing some of Chester County’s greatest assests – its people. The Chester County Food Bank has seen a tremendous increase in need for food for those who continue to experience economic hardships but the joy of this season past has been the extraordinary efforts women, men and young people have made to help the hungry. I am so proud of Chester County and all that people do to help each other. Your Journal was a joy to receive. I feel more connected to those who are doing their very best to make Chester County healthier, happier and safer for all of us! Shine on!

Phoebe Kitson, Program Manager, Chester County Food Bank

It’s uplifting to read these stories… It makes you look at the future with that old phrase in mind: The sun’ll come out, tomorrow!
Charles Streitwieser, President Morning Star Coffee

Your website is amazing! I just finished searching through it and reading the publisher’s notes and it is so nice to see a solid project with good intentions and indefinite potential. This has obviously come from many other experiences, jobs, and roller coaster rides of life and shows that you know what you’re doing! Keep doing your thing…
it is the only way to succeed and make the world better. … you’re an inspiration!”
Mike Nappi, Starbucks Barista

This edition even beats your first – you just get better and better :)

Response to “Charms for Charity” by Alex Friedmann
This is wonderful, Alex! I loved reading your story. It reminds me of me when I was a little girl. Keep up the great work for helping others. It is not “THINGS” that make us happy, it is “FEELINGS.”
Leigh

How wonderful it is to be introduced to a young lady with such character and compassion, even though it’s done only by reading about her. Please pass on an admiring stranger’s admiration to her and her worthwhile enterprise to buy presents for the kids at CHOP.
Donald E. Anders, President Exton Region Chamber of Commerce

I read your story in the Women’s Journal magazine…great story and you are wonderful for doing what you do. I was impressed! I want to thank you and your friend for helping get toys for sick kids….wow…that’s a wonderful way to help and give of your time.
