Keeping Life Together!

Keeping Life Together!
By Uneeka Jay, CEO of Powermommy Nation

WOMEN OFTEN ASK ME, “How do you keep everything together?” That’s a fair question since I live a full life. I work full time as a senior executive and part time as CEO of Powermommy Nation, support my husband who is a pastor, and hold the role of mom for 13 children in our blended family.

Some people who talk to me seem to want a “get sane quick” scheme or a few easy steps to a balanced life. The truth is that balance cannot be achieved without hard work and the right mindset, which usually involves change.

The power in Powermommy comes from understanding that I don’t do this on my strength alone. It comes from a trusting relationship with God. It comes from finding my own rhythm—not the rhythm of other women. It comes from understanding that sometimes there are tears and bad days, but that a traffic jam or an unexpected call from the school cannot easily snatch away true joy.

I walk women through a process of defining their rhythm and releasing themselves from the expectations of others. I am passionate about seeing women excel in every area of their lives. Let’s connect: www.powermommynation.com.

Testimonial

“Through Uneeka’s coaching and mentoring, I learned how to step back and think before I speak and I learned how to write down my thoughts so I can let others finish before I blurt out what I have to say. Uneeka is a dynamic speaker. She knows her audience and has a way of drawing them in which in turn makes them want to participate”
