LOOKING FOR A FREE EVENT on a Friday night that offers culture, shopping and dining? Look no further than the Gallery Walk, which will take place on Friday evening, October 7th from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Downtown West Chester.
The 2011 Fall Gallery Walk will once again feature the “Stillman Volvo Art Experience,” as well as exhibits at art galleries and One-Night-Only art shows throughout town. Gallery Walk is presented biannually—in the spring and fall—by the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce and is sponsored by Stillman Volvo of West Chester and Wells Fargo. The event offers visitors the perfect opportunity to experience historic West Chester’s blend of urban sophistication and small town ambience while enjoying all the town has to offer in the way of art, dining and shopping.
Enormously popular at the spring Gallery Walk, the “Stillman Volvo Art Experience” will include art by local students and will be located in the Wells Fargo parking lot on Gay Street between High and Walnut Streets. Visitors can enjoy 13 galleries and One- Night-Only art exhibits, plus additional venues that will be open during the evening.
