Exelon Energy – Preferred Energy Supplier

With the holiday season behind us, Pennsylvania savvy business owners will now be shopping for electricity. As we begin the New Year, businesses in the PECO service territory are keenly aware of the rate cap expiration beginning January 1. In keeping with
its mission to ensure a favorable environment for businesses to thrive in the County, the Chamber investigated energy programs to offer our members as a value added benefit. A task force was gathered to interview various of Business & Industry’s programs available and to weigh the pros and cons of each.

After careful consideration, the Chamber has entered into a strategic relationship with Exelon Energy, one of the region’s largest Dinner
retail energy suppliers, to be the preferred supplier for our members.

Exelon Energy representatives will be available to Chamber members to assist them in navigating the changing market and to take advantage of the savings a competitive landscape can provide. In addition, Exelon Energy will be hosting an event for Chamber members in January 2011.
